![]() ![]() The first message will state that Samba is not yet installed. Now go to the Applications folder and double click the SMBUp application to start it. Can someone provide me concrete solutions for this problem? If you read everything above, I have tried everything. After unzipping, you’ll see an application called SMBUp, drag it to your Applications folder. ![]() Just installed this server and transferred file from older OS X server just fine. I even tried to just share the folders thru windows smb. High Sierra 10.13.4 running OS Server 5.6.1. but now even when I go back to look at the folders there, the lock preferences screen pops up and juts loops, no matter how many times I put in the credentials. I am using the built-in OS X SMB file service (SMB3) and the printer connects to OS X. as of right now, I have everything shared thru zero config. I put in the username and password of my iMac, and yet that screen just keeps looping, never accepting the credentials it seems. but now, when I go to watch my movies, the lock preferences screen continuously pops up when I click on any of the folders im sharing from my iMac. For a couple of days it worked, and yes I did turn on libdsm for smb servers, I did input user name and password when adding the share. Browsing network folders over SMB protocol in Mac OS X 10.13 or later should now be near instantaneous when mounted to your Qumulo cluster. After putting all of my permissions correct on my iMac running OS High Sierra, and sharing the folders I need on that side, I configured and added those folders via smb on MRMC. I have tried everything and yet im still stuck in the mud. ![]() Hey guys, im STILL searching for answers, and I still have yet for anyone to answer my issue or help me. ![]()
